The Manifold board is designed for multiple spindle system and will operate a “smart” dust collector manifold that will direct the dust extraction vacuum to the spindle that is actually cutting material and generating chips or dust. The board will generate 12 VDC PNP outputs at 100 mA each to drive pneumatic solenoid valves that will in turn open or close gate valves that can be used to open up or close off air flow.
The advantage of using a system like is that it is far more efficient and a much smaller dust extraction system can be used than normally would be required on a multiple spindle system.
